By downloading, installing, accessing, or using GPS AREA FIELDS MEASURMENTS (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

The App provides GPS and location-based tools intended to assist users with field measurement and location documentation.

Depending on the features available in the App, these may include:

  • GPS-based distance measurement

  • GPS location tracking for measurement purposes

  • GPS-stamped camera and photographs

The App is intended as a convenient measurement and documentation tool for personal, agricultural, field, property, construction, surveying-support, and other practical purposes.

3. Measurement Accuracy and Important Disclaimer

GPS measurements are estimates and may vary depending on device hardware, GPS signal quality, satellite availability, atmospheric conditions, surrounding buildings, trees, terrain, network conditions, map data, and other environmental or technical factors.

The App does not guarantee that any area, distance, boundary, coordinate, location, or other measurement is accurate, complete, or suitable for professional surveying or legal purposes.

Measurements produced by the App should not be treated as a substitute for measurements performed using professional surveying equipment or by a qualified surveyor.

You should independently verify important measurements before relying on them for:

  • Legal or property boundaries

  • Land registration or ownership matters

  • Construction or engineering work

  • Government submissions

  • Financial transactions

  • Property purchase or sale

  • Disputes

  • Professional surveying

  • Any other situation where measurement accuracy is critical

The developer is not responsible for losses, disputes, costs, or damages resulting from reliance on measurements generated by the App.

4. GPS and Location Services

The App may use your device's location services to provide measurement and GPS-stamping features.

Location accuracy depends on your device, operating system, GPS/satellite reception, network availability, environmental conditions, and other factors outside the developer's control.

You are responsible for enabling the necessary location permissions and services on your device.

If location permission is denied, restricted, or unavailable, certain features of the App may not function correctly.

The App should only access location information to the extent necessary to provide the relevant features.

5. Camera and GPS-Stamped Photos

If you use the GPS-stamped camera feature, the App may use your device camera and location information to create photographs containing information such as:

You are responsible for reviewing photographs before saving, exporting, publishing, or sharing them.

You should not photograph or share private property, individuals, locations, or other information without appropriate permission or lawful authority.

You must not:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes.

  • Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, overload, or interfere with the App or its services.

  • Use the App to create or distribute fraudulent or misleading documentation.

You are solely responsible for the information, measurements, photographs, and other content you create or share using the App.

7. Your Data and Content

Any photographs, measurement results, notes, or other content created by you using the App remain under your control, subject to the technical operation of the App and any applicable third-party services.

The App may process information such as location data, photographs, device information, or measurement information when required to provide its features.

You should review the Privacy Policy before using the App.

8. Third-Party Services and Map Data

The App may use third-party services, including mapping, location, analytics, advertising, cloud, or other technology providers.

Third-party services may operate under their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

Map information, satellite information, geographic data, roads, boundaries, addresses, coordinates, and other third-party information may contain inaccuracies, omissions, delays, or errors.

The developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or continued availability of third-party map or location data.

9. Ads and Analytics

If the App contains advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or similar third-party technologies, those services may process certain information in accordance with their applicable policies and the disclosures provided in our Privacy Policy.

The availability and behavior of advertisements or third-party services may change without notice.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, interface, design, branding, graphics, text, logos, and other developer-provided materials, is owned by or licensed to the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by law or by the developer, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App or its proprietary components.

  • GPS accuracy

  • Measurement accuracy

  • Map accuracy

  • Location accuracy

  • Continuous GPS availability

  • Availability of satellite or network services

  • Accuracy of GPS-stamped information

  • Compatibility with every device

  • Continuous availability of third-party services

  • That the App will be error-free or uninterrupted

You use the App at your own discretion and risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other losses or damages arising from or related to:

  • Reliance on GPS measurements

  • Incorrect or inaccurate area or distance calculations

  • Incorrect GPS coordinates

  • Map or location data errors

  • Loss or corruption of data

  • Device or software failures

  • Unavailability of GPS, maps, networks, or third-party services

  • Misuse of the App

  • Unauthorized use of the App

  • Use of measurements for professional, legal, financial, construction, surveying, or property-related decisions

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the App, violation of these Terms, or misuse of information, measurements, photographs, or other content generated using the App.

15. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it or ceasing to use its services.

We may restrict or terminate access to the App where reasonably necessary, including where a user violates these Terms, misuses the App, attempts to compromise its security, or uses the App unlawfully.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws, services, or business practices.

The updated Terms will be made available through the App or another appropriate location.

Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the developer and the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Any disputes shall be subject to the applicable courts and dispute-resolution mechanisms of the relevant jurisdiction.
